Hi! I’m Kelly (she/her). I am passionate about creating a safe, nonjudgemental, and empowering space for my clients to work on their healing journeys. I love working with LGBTQAI+ individuals and cis young women to decrease stress, increase self esteem, increase presence in your daily life and lower anxiety. I primarily do this work in collaboration with you utilizing deep breathing, meditation and mindfulness to feel relief from anxiety and stress and hopeful for the future.

As a woman living with constant anxiety and stress, it can be unbearable; it can affect your life in so many ways and I get that. It can seem like there’s no end to the bad self thoughts or that you feel back into old routines. It can be like:

  • racing thoughts about the future?

  • sleeplessness and hopelessness that things might not get better?

  • an inner struggle with your thoughts that consistently blame you for everything?

  • irritability toward your family, co workers and friends because, as a woman, you are used to holding everything together and that’s hard work

About Me

Hi! I’m Kelly (she/her). I am an anxiety and LGBTQAI+ therapist in St. Louis, MO. I’m I have been a social worker for 10 years working with anxiety, stress, and self esteem. Dealing with the constant internal pressure and inner critic that doesn’t have a good thing to say is difficult. I come alongside you in your healing journey to help increase self compassion and mindfulness which creates more hope for the future. As a gay therapist, I understand some of the issues that we have to process to not just survive but to thrive as our own unique, authentic person.

    Is your inner critic so loud that’s all you can hear sometimes? Do you feel lonely and isolated even though you have a good support network? I come alongside with mindfulness and compassion to help you have a peace of mind and feel more present in your life.

    Do you want to live more mindful or authentically in your own life? Are you on a sexuality or gender journey and need someone to listen? Do you wish you had more compassion and empathy for youself? Everyone deserves a safe place to process their stuff and I provide that as a therapist with lived experience.

  • Mindfulness Based Therapy

    Is your mind constantly working? Are you future oriented but only if it’s worst case scenario? Mindfulness therapy provides a reason to practice self compassion. I can help you be more focused on the present moment and enjoy each day.

What to expect during therapy with me:

  1. Schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation. Here we will decide if we are a good fit for each other. As a therapist, I want you to find the best therapist for you.

  2. We will work together to meet your specific goals. I have worked very short term for only 3 months on specific anxiety issues to on going therapy for many years. We will meet for 50 mins per session where you choose what we process and talk about. We will practice mindfulness during most sessions but don’t let that scare you; mindfulness isn’t about being perfect but practicing. Mindfulness can look like all sorts of things so if you aren’t into meditations then that’s okay!

  3. You decide when you have met your goals. You will be more present, less anxious and stressed, have more hope and self compassion.
